Hello! Nice to meet you :)
Growing up, I was always a really shy kid, so much so that I was sent to speech therapy as an attempt to “bring me out of my shell.” Spoiler alert: that didn’t work.
It wasn’t until I started working part-time jobs in high school and college—coaching toddlers in soccer, working concessions at a movie theater, supporting writers at DePaul’s Writing Center, hosting at a restaurant, and helping with Santa photos—that I discovered my love and the joy of connecting with people. Each job acted as its own type of exposure therapy, teaching me not only strong communication and problem-solving skills, but also introducing me to a world of stories and perspectives I never would’ve encountered otherwise.
That curiosity and love for connecting with others is not only at the heart of everything I do, but is what led me to pursue my BFA in Film and Television Production at DePaul University, where I was able to immerse myself in both the creative and logistical sides of filmmaking. During my undergrad, I worked on over 25 film sets, wrote and directed two of my own projects, held four different internship roles, and even spent three years working at DePaul’s Writing Center as a Peer Tutor and co-facilitator for the Scriptwriting Society.
These experiences solidified my desire to work across production, development, and writing, helping stories reach their full potential while also creating my own projects. I’m drawn to character-driven stories that explore relationships, identity, and the complexities of life, and I thrive on helping those stories come to life—whether it's working with writers to polish scripts while honoring each individual’s unique voice, managing the logistics of a production to ensure everything runs smoothly, or leading a team to bring my own projects to life. I strive to keep the joy and love for connecting with others at the center of everything I do, creating meaningful stories that resonate with audiences and fostering collaborative relationships with the creatives I’m lucky enough to work alongside.
